We spoke with William Hill’s head of security operations to learn more about the company’s experience leveraging Flashpoint intelligence to support its goals and challenges. The team is responsible for the security operations of William Hill’s retail shops, as well as its online presence.

William Hill is part of a unique industry and niche market, but the company has found that the challenges it experiences are similar to the threats financial institutions face. The company’s biggest challenges include credential stuffing and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against their website. These attacks are the main reason why William Hill reached out to Flashpoint. William Hill also wanted to have a better understanding of these attacks in order to be proactive about lessening the risk of future incidents.
